The mission of Get on B.A.S.E. is to strengthen the quality of after school and summer programs in Brockton and South Shore communities and promote access to programs for all children ages 5-14.

Get on B.A.S.E. believes that children are best served in out-of-school time programs when program educators work in partnership with families, schools, institutions of higher education, and community organizations.

Currently, we are able to serve over 400 children through quality improvement initiatives and provide coaching and training to 100 after school educators.

Get on B.A.S.E. was founded in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1999 with a grant from the Sheehan Family Foundation in order to strengthen and expand the system of out-of-school time in Brockton. In 2003, Get on B.A.S.E. began to provide services to programs and their families in selected South Shore communities while continuing its strong Brockton focus. Brockton Youth Foundation is the 501(c) 3 fiscal partner of Get on B.A.S.E.
